What if? - A Love Poem

What if I wanted

to write you a song

but didn't have the beat?

What if I wanted

to tell you how I feel

but didn't have the words?

What if I wanted

to only fall asleep

if I wake up in your arms?

What if I wanted

a future by your side

no matter where we are?

Is it ok to just be happy

this moment in your arms?

Is it ok to say I love you

if I don't know I'll hear it back?
